Orphans & Street kids
Needing your Compassion Cikal
Hope for Children reaches out to children that live on the street, have
no home, no governing parent and/or is an orphan. We now
have 4 children aged 6 to 14 in the Cikal home. If you are a church or
an organization that can help, these children need your support. God
gave us the commission to reach out to orphans and keep them safe from
evil people. We hope you can support us monthly, quarterly, or annually
with 1,000,000 rupiah or more. If you
are an individual, you can also help with food, clothing, and/or
financial help.
The
"Meet
a Child" page is a short introduction to children that
we have at Cikal Hope for Children that need your support. Each child is
special and so are those that support reaching out to street children.

budget is needing help to operate and your financial support is very
much welcome in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Joe We are starting to get support from all over the world. For all countries, except for Indonesia, see the support noted and convert it to your type of currency. One converter you can use is found at http://www.united.com/page/specialpage/0,1451,50009,00.html. 1. For general support we ask you to support us with a minimum of US$25.00 per month. See our "Financial Support" page for how you can support us financially and what levels of support are needed.

When you support a specific child, you will need to support with
US$65.00 per month. You will be identified to the child and you
can send emails, letters, and/or call and talk to them (once they learn
English). After they are
comfortable with you, you will be able to come and visit them.

If you would like to send support to be put into an education fund for
helping graduates into a secondary school or college, you will be asked
to provide support of at least $25.00 per month. The support will be
placed in a general education account and used for no other project. We will be
consulting with the child as to what their interests are and then part
of their tuition will come from this account.

If you would like to support our new property/building project we ask
you to send support in multiples of 500,000 rupiah. Larger amounts are also accepted in lump
sums or by monthly support.

The present house we are leasing is now a 3 bedroom house. It is small but enough room to take care of these four precious children. Our goal, with your help is to purchase 1 hectare of land for a goal price of no more than US$20,000.00 rupiah. Then we
will begin the building and furnishing projects that will start with a
Cikal home to raise 10 to 20 children. This will include the beginning
of the multipurpose facility that will be for a kitchen / dining room.
It will be used for eating, home tutored home work, other types of
training including Bible studies. In time,
another goal is to have vocational training the last two years for high
school aged children to prepare them for when they leave the home.
